Class Description

This beginner class is designed to build a strong foundation in salsa while keeping the experience fun, immersive, and easy to follow.

You’ll learn essential techniques such as:

Proper frame and posture (your “dome”)
Dancing on the balls of your feet
Leading and following with clarity and confidence
The basic step, right turn, and crossbody lead
Timing, rhythm, and connection with the music
Eye contact and presence on the dance floor

Students rotate partners (optional) to develop real social dancing skills, and each class is structured to help you progress step by step toward Level 2.

Whether you’ve never danced before or want to refine your basics, this class will help you feel comfortable, capable, and ready to step onto any dance floor.
